Directions by car
Find us at Ascot Racecourse.
Just off the main High Street (east), head along Winkfield Road toward the Royal Ascot Golf Club and follow the yellow AA road signs to Car Park Z. All entrances are a short walk from the car parks.

Tips for enjoying the event.
Walk or come by train
If you live locally and can walk to the fireworks, please do, you'll avoid the traffic queues and have more fun. The venue is about a five-minute walk from the station, along a path lit by permanent street lighting.
Buy tickets in advance
It's cheaper and it speeds up your entry to the event. Buy using your local school's code and the school benefits too.
Allow plenty of time
Gates open at 4:00pm and the display starts at 6:00pm. Please allow at least half an hour to park, walk to the gates and find a comfortable viewing spot, and take the chance to look around the racecourse while you're here.
Clothing and footwear
Wrap up warm, especially young children: coats, gloves and scarves for the walk between the car parks and the Grandstand. Depending on the weather there may be mud in the car park areas, so wear boots. The Grandstand area itself is free of the mud.
Young children
Arrive soon after the gates open so there's time to park, see the fairground and buy refreshments. Sometimes there's the bonus of other displays in the distance before ours starts. Don't risk missing the start by arriving late.
Bring a torch
Every area inside the venue is lit, but a torch is handy in the car parks or on unlit roads to and from the event. The path down to the railway station has permanent street lighting.
Parking
Parking is free, in the racecourse car parks, and marshals will direct you. Please remember where you parked, and take care both driving and walking between vehicles.
Accessibility
Accessible parking is in Car Park 3 and the Windsor Enclosure from 4pm for Blue Badge holders. A complimentary Personal Assistant (carer) ticket is available on request, see our carer tickets page.

The display lasts approximately 20 minutes. We do our best to start on time; if we ever need to delay, we'll announce the expected delay and keep it to a minimum.
